法案には「（ギャンブル依存症など）有害な影響の排除」のため、政府に「必要な措置」を求めたが、具体策は明記していない。このためＩＲを推進してきた超党派の「国際観光産業振興議員連盟」（会長・細田博之自民党幹事長代行）は、与党で対策もまとめ、法案に盛り込む修正を行うことも検討している。
